Description
-New profile of my main character-
'Marufestis' is a slight 'corruption' of 'Mar-Rufus', which is another drawing of mine depicting Sandman aka. Morpheus, Pun totally intended. Since 'Rufus' means 'red' (I think), I find it appropriate for this character too.
-The three symbols on his shoulder represent the three fallen faiths of The Sun, Moon, and Star Deities prominently worshipped in his time by his enemies. I couldn't help but notice the similarities of these symbols as they're shown in ancient Mesopotamian reliefs to the symbols for Christendom, Islam, and Judaism, so it's totally analogous here. The sun symbol is just a disc here, however, not a small disc with rays coming from it in the shape of a cross.
